Thank you

Last year I was asked by a friend to come to a horse show and photograph them.

I had been a photographer for a while at the time, but could never work up the courage to go to shows. I always found an excuse (not the right equipment, waste of my time, I’m not an action photographer). There is one thing I fear more than failure and that’s disappointment, so I bought an 85mm lens and I went.

Little did I know that I would be here, less than a year later, excitedly searching for bigger shows to photograph. Crossing my fingers and praying to keep on doing this.

You never know when you are going to be the push someone needed. That little shove that will light the fire in someone. I bet you didn’t know you were mine.

It’s hard to believe that this was really August of last year. Only 11 months ago. And now..
